Procedure
Give the minister a printed or clear handwritten copy of the text. The minister will probably want to know why this form of intimation is being requested. The request might be refused.
Notice required
If an important item has not been included in the Order of Service, for whatever reason, notify the minister as soon as possible if you would like him to make an announcement during the service. Leaving it to just before the service is an undesirable last resort.
Other comments
Ministers may wish to emphasise specific intimations printed in the Order of Service by mentioning them during the service, but prefer not to make last-minute intimations in this way.
